Suicide Survivor is written for those who have lost a loved one to suicide.
I am a suicide survivor; my oldest brother took his own life nearly eight years ago. There is strength in community, healing in processing what has happened and how you feel. Prevention of suicide begins with learning the symptoms and warning signs, both are covered in this book. The book also includes journal prompts and space in the appendix of the book to express thoughts and emotions.
As a licensed counselor and a suicide survivor myself, I combined personal and professional knowledge and experience to write this book.
We cannot control all of what happens to us in this life, yet we can choose what we do with it, how we respond. I desire to help as many as I can to process this tragic loss, to grieve and to heal, to take part in prevention of suicide.
